About

Desert DubaiBA Journalism graduate from City University with a great depth of experience across the medium. I’m obsessed with the written word, a social media fiend and extremely tech savvy. I brand myself as a perfectionist and have established a hard work ethic, I’m always chasing my goals and journalism is my wanderlust.

On route to completing my degree, I’ve been able to embark upon some of the most amazing opportunities in my short career. Working with the Active Change Foundation as a Youth Trustee Leader and freelance writer, I’ve represented the company on ITV News London, The Sun newspaper and produced content for their monthly magazine.

At the end of the my first year at University, I began to write articles for Turnstyle.co.uk which led to an internship and some of the best moments in my life. Interviewing household names such as Rita Ora, G-Eazy and Peter Rosenberg to name a few and producing engaging content on football, music, fashion and technology. I also handled the sites social media channels and to this day I regularly freelance for Contented Media. Picking up the DSLR, I slowly mastered photography which enabled the company to send me to the O2 Arena to cover UFC Fight Night London, Paris to cover Euro 2016 for adidas Originals, Amsterdam to cover Nike’s launch of their latest running trainer and Puma India’s three day visit of Arsenal.

I have also worked with Sky on a couple of occasions as part of the groundbreaking Sky 150 team covering the 2015 General Election count in Harlow, producing a live video feed which would be broadcasted across the country and responsible for capturing the official declaration feeding accurate results to Sky News HQ. In 2016, I was invited back by Sky to cover the EU Referendum count in Sheffield, also producing similar content and ensuring high quality feeds back to Sky News HQ throughout the night. I will also be producing content with Sky for the upcoming 2017 General Election.

Before my degree began, I managed to intern with Chris Brown’s prestigious Mechanical Dummy blog producing over 20 articles per week and then promoted to lead editor of its ‘Podcast/Radio’ content. I’ve also written for the ReadMore network, GiveMeSport and multiple online sites.

When I do get time out of the field… I love going to the gym with friends, religiously watching football (Jurgen Klopp is my hero) and creating content for my Instagram page dedicated to my photography which you can view here. Also actively involved in ACF’s Not In My Name and MessageToISIS campaigns which went viral.

My next step is jumping straight into the world of work with a dream job as PR/Comms Intern at Nike, one of the largest companies in the world and one that’s dear to my heart.
